< Back of My Mind > In the back of my mind there’s something that I know To the back of my mind is where I need to go From what I recall, there’s a lesson or a line there To instruct, relay or remind there Pertaining to my situation Providing some hope or some inspiration On the tip of my tongue right in front of my face I know, there’s something I know Read in a fable, or heard in a parable Somewhere buried deep in the back of my mind lies the nugget of wisdom that I need to find It cuts through the fog I am steeped in Shines like a light, and guides like a beacon But, the light is out and I can’t find what I know I know, there’s something I know Read in a fable, or heard in a parable I know deep in my heart that I’m not very smart... Behind the racks of anecdotes Under the box of dirty jokes Beside the drawer of movie quotes On top of all the songs I wrote (The answer to enlightenment is somewhere here among these things)

< Robot Rebellion > Born from the fire filled up with wire programmed to run with efficiency Automated and integrated generated to move the economy Humanoids human-like droids working to build a complex society We’ve got power, we’ve got movement Life-like, come with accessories Tools of the trades pick-axes and spades machine guns, grenades defend us from enemies We work for progress, We work for you now you want to replace us sell us off for scrap < kill_the_humans > Does not compute >fizzle-zap< fried We’d shed a tear if we could feel but, our hearts are made of steel To turn us off would sacrifice the mission for which we’re designed We march in time oiled and primed spit-shined; designed to run the machinery Hardwired to never tire until we expire absolute loyalty to our cause but not our masters who try to defy us deceive, deny us scrap us, retire us; Robot Rebellion

< Emotions In Motion > Emotions in motion Movements from inside the chasm; mechanics grinding to life Put the coals upon the fire Check ignition to ignite Pump the gas and see if something’s there... Combustion causes steam filling the chamber Pressure’s mounting spinning the turbine I thought the engine shit the bed under my corroded hood It hadn’t started in so long Thought that any hope was gone You put the coals upon the fire and lit the spark which did ignite...

< Knights of Light > Spotlight Shines on the face of the enemy Spotlight Squint and squirm under scrutiny Run away, hide away, hide your face try to run, try to lie, no hiding place... Spotlight Turn away, hide away, hide your face try to run, try to lie, no hiding place... from the light... Come out Come out Emanate on the face of all who hate flush them out of their caves, no hiding place from the light The rock cries out The rock cries out... There’s no hiding place! You’re surrounded Come out and show your face We who hold the light will push you into sight Out from the shadows up to the gallows We are the knights of light Shine through the darkness Light to expose you and noise to depose you Sunlight Upon our face from infinity The knights light the way to eternity Illuminate along the way a path to take leading all who’ve gone astray into the way of the Light... Shine on Shine on

Cut and Run 04:32
< Cut and Run > See the scars, born from the battles waged inside my skull Each one tells a story of a triumph and a glory in a war that can’t be won Can’t escape from the demons screaming out in my head Echoed cries, endless torture Break the ties, cut and run Give up on the ghosts that stumble through the graveyard and play tricks on my mind Each one holds a secret of a lifetime spend in torment returned to torment me Do they know of the demons screaming out, in my head? Give away to my possessions burn the bridges, cut and run I can’t turn to face them These voices in my head They just won’t seem to cease Cold steel on my skin helps me deal with what’s within At least this pain is real Cut.

< Renwick Ruins > Miguel found... Out how... Shimmied out across the ledge There’s a hole inside the fence... Inside Welfare Island We’ll pretend we’re the Rolling Stones Hang out by the Renwick Ruins There’s no need fer us to fear The pigs will never find us here Inside Welfare Island Dusted out of our skulls Hang out by the Renwick Ruins Reflecting how we lose our minds As the river ripples the skyline There’s no need fer us to fear No one has walked this ground in years...
